✨NEWSFLASH: Presenting LICK SOCIAL #1!✨🌴🍉🎁🍍🎶

Just popping in with some VERY exciting news i´ve wanted to share with you for so long (been a bit “top secret” and i´m useless at fibs!)

Most of you know I travel between the UK and Norway to continue yoga projects over there. Many of you have requested workshops here in Brighton too – so i´m really happy to announce a new and very special workshop event at the Lick Warehouse this autumn!

Presenting the Lick Social – a gathering of yoga, creativity and good vibes!

LICK SOCIAL #1

LICK SOCIAL?
As we move towards autumn it´s the perfect time to get cosy and creative. It also means that despite any chilly weather, we can create our own social wonderland with warmth and succulent experiences, inside and out. Oh and our theme for this Lick Social is “tropical”.

TROPICAL?
Yes! It also gives us a chance to say “tropical” lots of times which is fun (if a little trying, sorry about that) but also offer you a tropical feast for the senses!

FINE. WHAT DO I GET? (SPEAK OF THIS FEAST) (WHAT DO I GET)
You´ll have a themed yoga and creative movement session, tropical drinks, Lick fro-yo with tropical toppings, an inspired weaving workshop, tropical wonderland colouring in zone treats, a “potions and lotions” workshop, a tropical mixtape to take home, a goodie bag with lots of vibes as well as heaps of heartwarming activities!

WHAT´S THE PLAN?
We’ll start off the evening with a creative movement workshop, to facilitate the interconnected nature of everything, the yoga, creativity, music, atmosphere and good vibes. It´s a chance too, to come and “deepen” your own practice, ask any questions you might have about yoga, movement, mindfulness, creativity, share ideas, converse, connect and hang out.

After the yoga we’ll have something to drink, some tropical fro-yo, and immerse ourselves in creativity and tropical fun.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE STUFF THAT´S GOING ON
Thought you wouldn´t ask!

WEAVING WITH AMY ILIC
We´re so pleased and honoured to have the brilliant Amy Ilic along for the adventure. She will be sharing a weaving workshop (which Ketil and I are more than a bit addicted to!). You´ll have a full beginners weaving immersion with tropical colour therapy to your hearts content.
Sidenote: what´s really great and interesting about weaving is the meditative aspect of it. Very centring, mindful movement which we think compliments yoga perfectly.

MILLIE MAROTTA´S COLOURING IN ZONE
It seems that colouring in has become a madly popular activity – that´s because it´s fun and brilliant of course! The talented Millie Marotta has so kindly donated an exclusive print from her book (currently high up in the uk book chart) it´s aptly called Tropical Wonderland, so excited for all kinds of tropical wonder.

POTION MAKING WORKSHOP
Ketil and I will host a special potion and lotion making workshop, using tropical scents and oils to concoct soothing and nourishing skin treats – create your own mini cosmetics range to take home or give to a loved one.

OTHER BONUS TREATS
Our lovely friend Amy Brown (previous artist in residence at the Lick Warehouse) is helping us with décor too so expect tropical jungle vibes.

The talented Adam is joining us too. He makes brilliant films and this event will be filmed – hence the reduced ticket price.

Each guest also goes home with a goodie bag containing a very special mixtape, posters, potions and more!

And did I mention there will also be free Innocent coconut water plus free Lick Fro- yo with tropical toppings?

OK, YOU HAD ME AT TROPICAL TOPPINGS. HOW CAN I GET IN ON THE LICK SOCIAL ACTION?
