With fear and authenticity on the recent menus we took a disco-stilton twist in this week´s classes and washed it down with a hardy reality check. By reality check i mean a good honest look at who we are, in every facet, in every layer.
So here´s the hard bit of cheese to swallow: Acknowledging all parts of ourselves means we´re on the road to accepting ourselves fully! Fear, integrity, authenticity are all interconnected and if it´s change we seek we can´t make any moves until we know where we´re at! And we live in (insert city or place here), baby.
Sometimes it´s hard enough to accept the good eggs within us (realising the British and the Norwegians have a tendency to by extra shy in this department!) let alone the darker dingier more terrifying areas. But i´m encouraging you to feel no shame about the good or the bad, and instead have the courage to take a good objective look at yourself and *deep breath* acknowledge and accept your nitty gritty! Particularly those tickly whiskers that are particularly hard to swallow. Whether it´s a tough part of your personal history that you´ve wanted to avert your gaze from, or perhaps that wonderful talent you´ve been declining to admit, see (and accept) the truth in all that you are. It´s a wonderful thing.
“Once you’ve been bitten by the truth bug, there’s no going back…”
